Position Summary
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives on keeping things running smoothly, solving problems quickly, and developing others. The Site Supervisor oversees maintenance, event and security support, tenant coordination, and vendor work—helping ensure our San Francisco site is safe, clean, and operational for both people and production.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support the SF facilities team by assigning work, managing schedules, and providing feedback, coaching, and development. Monitor performance and promote a culture of accountability.
- Maintain building systems and facility infrastructure, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and structural elements. Oversee preventative maintenance and coordinate repairs with vendors.
- Support manufacturing operations by troubleshooting and resolving equipment issues in collaboration with the Director of Engineering.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, fire safety, and hazardous waste regulations in partnership with EH&S. Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Respond to alarms and oversee physical security systems, including badge access and cameras, in coordination with IT and security vendors.
- Manage site logistics for company events, including setup, teardown, and maintenance coverage.
- Use the CMMS system (Limble) to manage work orders, track maintenance tasks, and support documentation and reporting.
- Coordinate with building tenants to address maintenance requests and ensure lease-related facility needs are met.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; trade school or technical certification preferred
- 3+ years experience in facilities or maintenance, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting ability
- Team leadership and communication skills
- Working knowledge of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical)
- Familiarity with environmental and safety standards (e.g. OSHA, fire codes)
- Ability to prioritize tasks and make independent decisions
- EPA, OSHA 10/30, or trade certifications preferred
- Experience using a CMMS (Limble preferred), Google Workspace or MS Office
- English required; Spanish a plus
Physical Requirements (Heavy)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Standing and walking for extended periods
- Regular bending, reaching, and movement throughout the warehouse
- Repetitive motion involving hands and wrists (e.g., handling materials, using tools)
- Requires sustained attention to detail, task-switching, and decision-making in a fast-paced environment
- Assessing accuracy, safety, and infrastructure needs
Visual Acuity Requirements
Requires close visual acuity to inspect facilities, identify mechanical issues, evaluate repairs, and read plans and technical documents. Must be able to assess facility and equipment safety, cleanliness, and performance.
Work Environment / Hours / Compensation
This is a full-time, exempt position, onsite Monday through Friday, with occasional extended hours in the evenings or on weekends for emergencies or events. This role is located at our San Francisco Showroom & Tile Factory building located in The Mission District. The salary range for this position is $82,000 – $92,000, based on experience.
Only Bay Area candidates will be considered.
